The rum has a dark golden color. Notes of mocha, papaya, sweet coffee aroma, refined banana and other tropical fruits dupe the nose. A very energetic presence of a vanilla-sweet Bourbon aroma unites the whole fragrance in a splendor. In the mouth, the rum produces a bold and overwhelming sensation. It is released with an abundance of warm spices a la allspice and cinnamon, dried figs, burnt almonds and delicious free cocoa. The multifaceted aftertaste is long and is rounded off by a delicious note of sweet pipe tobacco, dark chocolate, and cedar. Refined, a balanced rum with perfectly matched sweetness.
