About Ron Cueva

The House of Ron Cueva

A house shaped by family, craftsmanship, and intention.

It Began With a Reunion

Ron Cueva began when two brothers found their way back to each other.

After decades apart, Michael Ranzau and Kenneth Kruse were reunited during their father’s final days. What resurfaced was not a business plan, but a shared desire — to build something meaningful together.

It began with a conversation.
And a promise.

A Family Effort

From the beginning, Ron Cueva has been shaped by more than two hands.

Anette Ranzau became an essential part of translating vision into form — refining the bottles, the packaging, and the quiet details that define the brand. Her sense of balance helped give structure to what started as an idea.

Every expression is the result of collaboration.
Every detail carries intention.

Two Worlds. One Vision.

Ron Cueva stands at the meeting point of two traditions.

Panama — where climate, patience and craft shape depth and character.
Denmark — where refinement is guided by restraint, proportion and clarity.

We did not set out to be louder.
We set out to be considered.

Rum distilled and aged in Panama, refined with Danish sensibility.

Rooted in Place

Each expression carries the name of a place shaped by history and character — Casco Viejo, Chagres, San Blas, Azuero, Barú.

The Harpy Eagle became our symbol not for dominance, but for presence.

Strength without aggression.
Elegance without excess.

Growing With Intention

What began as a family commitment now travels across international markets and selected travel retail environments.

We grow carefully.
We choose our partnerships thoughtfully.
And we continue to build, layer by layer.

Ron Cueva is not built to impress everyone.

It is built for those who value craft, character, and depth.
